Why choose classes with Laura Bird Miller?  Miss Laura has been teaching art for over 15 years, 2nd – 12th grade as well as adult classes.  Classes are twice a month, which is not too overwhelming for our students busy schedules, yet Miss Laura offers Optional Activities and Sketchbook Challenges for the off weeks that go along with the lesson or theme of the month.  Her experience and her passion to encourage budding artists, instill confidence, and inspire fun and creativity are her passion!  If you’ve been following her FB page: www.facebook.com/coffeeandcanvasorlando or Coffee and Canvas Orlando Instagram page, you can see how much fun we have and how inspired our budding artists are!

The in-person classes are wonderful and the ZOOM classes, where we join our live classes, is a perfect option for those who are out of driving range, out of state, can’t make the Wednesday timeframe (you can watch the replay/recording,) or concerned about the current CoVid challenge.  Here are a few a lovely  testimonials regarding the ZOOM classes!

  • Jessica C. – 2020 summer camp mom states:  “Just a quick thank you for your art camps!  Breya is having a great week.  I am too enjoying her excitement each evening talking about the painting and the one for the next day.  She said she’s noticed how much better she’s getting with each painting.  And the ZOOM is a great option and working smoothly!  Hugs!”
  • Kerry T. – past and present Zoom student mom states: “Laura Miller’s art class has been the most wonderful part of quarantine!  Unable to drive to the class in person, we utilized the Zoom option.  The step-by-step demonstrations and clear instructions spoken in her gentle voice lead to my daughter producing her best artwork yet!  We look forward to taking more classes and learning more skills from this very talented artist and gifted teacher!”
